Round Tour 8 Days / 7 Nights

Day 1 – Airport/ Colombo

One of our representatives will meet and greet you upon your arrival at the airport and will take you to Colombo for check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, you will go on a city tour of Colombo.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Colombo/ Polonnaruwa/ Sigiriya

Following breakfast, you will journey to
Polonnaruwa – the second capital of Sri Lanka in the 11th and 12th centuries.
You will visit the Lankatilleke Vihare, Thuparama Dagoba and Gal Vihare before
proceeding to Sigiriya.

Day 3 – Sigiriya/ Aunuradhpaura/ Sigiriya

After breakfast you will leave for Anuradhapura, the first
capital of Sri Lanka. Here you will see the remains of the Brazen Palace (which
was once nine storeys high) and the Sri Maha Bodhi – a Bo Tree over 2,000 years
old, grown from the branch of the very tree. You will also visit the ruins of the Ruwanweliseya Dagaba.

Day 4 – Sigiriya/ Dambulla/ Kandy

After breakfast at a hotel, you will climb up the Sigiriya Rock Fortress where you will find the remains of the Palace and its environs. En route to Kandy, you will stop by the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple and the Spice Garden in Matale. You will check in at the hotel upon arrival at Kandy. In the afternoon, (Optional) visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and watch a Kandyan Cultural Dance performance.

Day 5 – Kandy/ Pinnawela/ Kandy

Sightseeing tour after breakfast to explore Kandy and the Upper Lake Drive. You will visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela and the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya.

Dinner and overnight stay at hotel

Day 6 – Kandy/ Nuwara Eliya

Enjoy breakfast before leaving for Nuwara Eliya. En route, you will visit a tea factory and tea plantation where you can catch a glimpse of women plucking the tea leaves or ‘Green Gold’. Upon arrival at Nuwara Eliya, also known as ‘Little England’, you will go on a late afternoon tour.

Day 7 – Nuwara Eliya/ Yala

After breakfast depart for Yala. In the afternoon, you will go on a trip to the Yala National Park or Bundala Wildlife Park and see a vast array of animals including deer, peacock, elephant, and wild buffalo and catch sight of a leopard or bear if you are lucky enough.

Dinner and overnight stay at hotel

Day 8 – Yala/ Galle/ Colombo

After breakfast, you will visit the Galle Dutch Fort before your return to Colombo, transfer to airport or drop off at a beach extension hotel of your choice.
