Tour Program as follows


Arrive at Colombo airport. Meet and transfer to Colombo.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of the Colombo city, visiting the Independence square, BMICH, World trade centre, Galle face etc.

Overnight accommodation in Colombo.


After breakfast leave for Dambulla / Sigiriya. En-route visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage.

The home to almost 70 Elephants of different ages you will have the opportunity to watch this herd as they bathe and play in the river nearby. There are many babies and almost all these Elephants are ones that have been found in the jungles lost and separated from their herds or with injuries.

Visit the Dambulla Rock Cave temple.

Early morning climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya The “Lion Rock” the “Fortress in the Sky”. King Kasyapa built this legendary Citadel during his reign 477 – 495 AC. The legend of Kasyapa is a story of tragedy and political intrigue.

Optional – Elephant back ride in Habarana

Afternoon proceed to Polonnaruwa for a sightseeing tour. The medieval capital city of the island.  After the demise of Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa became the capital city from 11th to the 13th century. This period another golden era of the country with great achievements in huge man made reservoirs and other architectural wonders.

Return to Sigiriya / Dambulla for overnight accommodation.


After breakfast leave  for Kandy. En-route visit a spice garden in Matale. 20 minutes ayurveda head massage

Known as the Hill Capital, this city is situated deep within lush green hills near Sri Lanka’s longest river, Mahaweli. The surroundings of Kandy are the perfect picture of a Tropical Landscape.

Visit the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the tooth). You will see many devotees who come to worship and join in religious ceremonies and rituals. Witness a Cultural Dance show where you can view a variety of the traditional performing arts of Sri Lanka.

Overnight accommodation in Kandy.


After breakfast visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya (67 ha), which began as a pleasure garden for the Kings of Kandy

Thereafter leave for Nuwara Eliya.

Visit a Tea factory and plantation to taste a cup of Sri lanka Tea !.

Sightseeing tour of the hill country. The influence left behind by the British is very evident as you pass through areas very much reminiscent of the countryside of England which has earned Nuwara Eliya the name “Little England”. The Golf Club of Nuwara Eliya has an excellent 18 hole course.

After early breakfast leave for Tissamaharama, via Ella gap. (Approx traveling time 5 hrs)

Late afternoon jeep safari of Yala National Park. Situated around the Uda Walawe reservoir south of the central hills of the island this park spreads over an area of 30,800 hectares. Consisting mainly of grassland this park is famous for its Herds of Wild Elephant, with an estimated population of over 500 living within the park. Sambar, Wild Buffalo, Sloth Bear, Crocodile as well as Leopard are the other larger animals that live here.

After breakfast proceed to Galle via Tangalle. Galle is a city with a colorful history and an old world charm. Its natural harbor was a famous fort in days gone by. The magnificent Dutch Fort now a UNESCO Heritage Site is still very much alive with the Dutch atmosphere.

Optional – visit the Kosgoda turtle sanctuary.

Drop off at beach resort for overnight accommodation.



After breakfast transfer to airport for departure flight.
